Dataset of oxidative stress, inflammatory and synaptic markers in rat prefrontal cortex following acute exposure to bisphenol A and polyethylene microplastics
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains biochemical and gene expression data obtained from the prefrontal cortex of Wistar rats following acute oral exposure to bisphenol A (BPA), polyethylene microplastics (MPs), and their combination. The dataset includes measurements of antioxidant enzyme activities (catalase, superoxide dismutase, glutathione S-transferase, and myeloperoxidase), lipid peroxidation levels (malondialdehyde), and relative gene expression of oxidative stress markers (Nrf2, CAT), inflammatory markers (NF-κB, TNFα), and synaptic-related genes (BDNF, Sert, Nr2A, Nr2B). Animals were distributed into four experimental groups (control, MPs, BPA, and BPA+MPs; n = 6 per group) and euthanised 24 hours after a single oral administration. The dataset provides quantitative values used for statistical analyses and figure generation in the associated publication. These data support the study of early molecular responses in the brain following exposure to plastic-associated contaminants and may be useful for comparative toxicology, neurobiology, and environmental health research.
