Houndshark raw Ion Torrent sequencing data

Here, we present, for the first time, the Ion Torrent next-generation sequencing (NGS) data for five houndsharks (Chondrichthyes: Triakidae). This data was used to assemble mitochondrial genomes (mitogenomes) to expand the resolution of the family Triakidae in an extensive mitochondrial phylogenomic (mitophylogenomic) study of the order Carcharhiniformes (groundsharks).
