Microplastics (MPs) as the novel environmental pollutants can serve as substrate for microbe. However, limited studies have focused on the interaction between MPs and microbes in wetland ecosystem. In this study, the bacterial community on MPs in the Poyang Lake wetland, the largest freshwater lake in China, was investigated based on 16S rRNA sequencing.
