Samples from two cesspool features at the historic Hudson Avenue Site in Glens Falls,
New York, were examined for pollen, starch, parasites, and macrofloral remains (Table 1). A
deposit of seeds from a trash pit also was submitted for identification. This site represents a
mid 19th- century neighborhood occupied mainly by working French-Canadian residents.
