“ When you use Tramadol, the sperms will not come out…”: Unconventional Methods for Avoiding Unintended Pregnancy amongst adolescents in Ghana

Qualitative data collected for a study on understanding adolescents contraceptive needs in Ghana. It includes transcriptions from focus group discussions with older adolescents from a district in the Greater Accra region of Ghana. Most of the focus group discussions were held in the Ga or Twi language and therefore the transcripts have been translated into English. For easy reading and clarity, the the transcripts have been edited for gramatical errors in the articles published from the data. The data was analysed thematically.
