The dataset consists of wind measurements from six strategically placed stations near Madeira International Airport, designed to capture wind conditions at 1-minute resolution from various directions. These stations are located at specific GPS coordinates, with coverage extending from the north-northeast to the southwest. The network effectively monitors predominant winds from the north and northeast, as well as the southeast and southwest, ensuring thorough coverage of the airport's runway alignment for both runway 05 and runway 23
