MASTERMINE – Crowdsourcing Component (Twitter/X IDs Dataset)

This dataset supports the analysis of public discourse related to mining, critical raw materials, and sustainable extraction practices. It is intended for research on trends, engagement patterns, and temporal dynamics of mining-related discussions on social media. The results of the analysis are presented in the following link: Socialmine Crowdsourcing Component Source Data were collected via the Twitter/X API using a predefined keyword-based query focused on mining-related topics. Extraction period 1 December 2022 – 21 February 2024 Data content The dataset consists of a single CSV file (tweets.csv) containing: Tweet ID Tweet publication date No tweet text, usernames, profile metadata, or other identifiers are included. Processing steps Keyword-based filtering using a predefined query Restriction to English-language tweets Removal of all content and metadata except tweet ID and date Limitations Tweets may no longer be available at the time of rehydration due to deletion or account restrictions Content must be rehydrated by users in compliance with Twitter/X terms of service
