We found that palmitic acid inhibits proliferation and cell death of Tregs in the skin. The goal of this study is to investigate how Palmitic acid drives lipid toxicity in skin Tregs Tregs were sorted from skin of 2-3-week-old Pparg-tdTKI/KI Foxp3-thy1.1KI/KI mice that were injected with 100ng/g body weight recombinant mouse IL-33 twice in a week, and were cultured in the presence of 2000 U/ml recombinant human IL-2 and 20 ng/ml IL-33 with 300uM BSA or BSA-conjugated PA for 3 days.
