As essential nutrients for the human body, both vitamins D and K play important roles in bone health. However, little is known about the combined effect of vitamins D and K on osteoarthritis-related subchondral bone osteoclastogenesis. In this study, we aim to elucidate the underlying mechanisms of their synergistic effect in the RANKL-induced osteoclastogensis in vitro model. To investigate the combined effect of vitamin D and K on osteoclast differentiation, we isolated BMDMs from C57BL/6 mice and treated them with RANKL and vitamin D and K. Comparative gene expression profiling analysis was then conducted using data obtained from RNA-sequencing of 3 different groups of cells.
