This repository stores all supporting material for the project that aimed to study <i>Pseudoblepharisma tenue</i> and its two different photosynthetic endosymbionts.<br><b>Pseudoblepharisma_tenue_metagenome_P2P4P5.fna</b>: Metagenome of <i>Pseudoblepharisma tenue</i> and its two photosynthetic endosymbionts: "<i>Ca.</i> Thiodictyon intracellulare" and <i>Chlorella </i>sp. The metagenome was co-assembled from three different libraries (P2, P4 and P5) using SPAdes. Scaffolds are larger than 1,000 bp. Please refer to the manuscript for further details.<br><b>Pseudoblepharisma_tenue.fna</b>: Draft genome of the ciliate host in the <i>Pseudoblepharisma tenue</i> symbiotic consortium. The draft genome was manually binned and curated from the metagenome of <i>Pseudoblepharisma tenue</i> using Anvi'o.<br><br><b>Chlorella_sp.fna</b>: Draft genome of the green endosymbiont of <i>Pseudoblepharisma tenue</i>: <i>Chlorella </i>sp. The draft genome was manually binned and curated from the metagenome of <i>Pseudoblepharisma tenue</i> using Anvi'o.<br><b>Ca_Thiodictyon_intracellulare.fna</b>: Draft genome of the purple endosymbiont of <i>Pseudoblepharisma tenue</i>: "<i>Ca.</i> Thiodictyon intracellulare". The draft genome was manually binned and curated from the metagenome of <i>Pseudoblepharisma tenue</i> using Anvi'o.<br><b>Ca_Thiodictyon_intracellulare.faa</b>: Proteome predicted from the draft genome of the purple endosymbiont of <i>Pseudoblepharisma tenue</i>: "<i>Ca.</i> Thiodictyon intracellulare". The proteome was predicted with Prodigal.<br><b>Pseudoblepharisma_tenue_mtDNA.fna</b>: Draft mitochondrial genome of the ciliate host in the <i>Pseudoblepharisma tenue</i> symbiotic consortium. The scaffolds were produced by a series of iterations with NOVOPlasty using different seeds. The final set of scaffolds are ordered according to their overlapping ends.<br><b>Pseudoblepharisma_tenue_mtDNA.gbk</b>: Annotation for Pseudoblepharisma_tenue_mtDNA.fna.
