aVm is defined as the difference between the potential at the diluted side (100 mM) and the potential at the concentrated side (500 mM). The pH of the aqueous salt solution was 6 unless otherwise indicated. t = 20°C. Pcation/Panion was calculated with the Goldman-Hodgkin-Katz equation [84] from at least three individual experiments.
