Age, obesity, sex hormone imbalance: Exploring factors associated with frontal baldness in male androgenetic alopecia patients: A cross-sectional study of 412 cases

Multiple linear regression for severity of frontal baldness (F score) including age, body mass index (BMI), serum triglyceride, serum testosterone as covariates was performed. Old age (adjusted β, 0.028; 95% CI, 0.022-0.035; p-value, <0.001) and higher BMI (adjusted β, 0.027; 95% CI, 0.000-0.055; p-value, 0.050) were found to be associated with more severe frontal baldness in male androgenetic alopecia patients.
