资源简介:
This dataset contains 10-minute averaged wind velocity measurements collected from multiple meteorological stations across Poland. The source data is provided by the Polish Meteorological Service, managed by the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management – National Research Institute. The temporal coverage spans from 2008 to 2024.
Key Features:
Temporal Resolution: Measurements are recorded as 10-minute averages.
Spatial Coverage: Data is gathered from a network of meteorological stations across Poland, with records organized by station identifiers.
Data Structure: The data is structured into data-value strings separated by station, facilitating station-specific analyses.
Quality Control:
Completeness Analysis: Each station’s data has been evaluated to ensure temporal consistency.
Trend and Outlier Detection: Analytical methods were applied to detect significant trends and identify anomalous data points.
Imputation of Missing Values: Missing entries, where applicable, were imputed using the Multiple Imputation by Chained Equations (MICE) procedure.
Project Context:
The dataset was acquired as part of the project titled "Method to quantify the energy droughts of renewable sources based on historical and climate change projections data," funded by the National Center of Science (NCN OPUS 24 edition). This project aims to support research into renewable energy resource variability and long-term climate change impacts.
This comprehensive dataset is well-suited for advanced meteorological analysis, climate modeling, and renewable energy research, providing a robust basis for understanding wind behavior over an extended period.
