This dataset is the General Survey Table of the 4th National Class I Forest Resources Inventory. It provides statistical data covering 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government of China, including Taiwan Province. The included statistical indicators are: area of forestry land, total growing stock of standing trees, area and growing stock of stocked forest land, area and growing stock of forest stands, area and growing stock of coniferous forests, area and growing stock of broad-leaved forests, area of economic forests, area of bamboo groves, forest coverage rate, proportion of forestry land to total national land area, proportion of stocked forest land to forestry land area, and per capita area and growing stock of stocked forest land.
