Uganda (2013): An LQAS assessment of HIV prevention behavior change communication in the districts of Sironko, Kabarole and Jinja.

The Community Driven Response (CDR) project is an HIV prevention project that targets to contribute to Uganda's goal of HIV reduction by 40%. CDR, targets improvements in condom use, HIV testing and safe male circumcision (SMC), EMTCT among other preventive practices in 37 districts in Uganda. This study aims to assess the progress made by districts who collaborate with PACE to implement CDR in achieving these outcomes. The assessment uses an LQAS approach to estimate performance of districts on key benchmarks. LQAS is used to implement structured face to face interviews with a cross section of target audiences under this project.
