This dataset encompasses qualitative and quantitative data collected to analyze and compare community resilience and adaptation strategies during the COVID-19 pandemic across five sub-Saharan African countries: Ghana, Sudan, Kenya, the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), and South Africa. The data includes secondary data from government reports, public health records, and international organizations. This dataset aims to provide insights into the effectiveness of local responses and derive policy implications for future pandemic preparedness.
