This dataset is a structured data resource for research on food packaging structure analysis and design, which records key parameters of various catering packaging products in terms of morphological configuration, structural hierarchy, material technology and other aspects, and is applicable to multiple application scenarios such as intelligent recommendation, complexity modeling, process optimization, and design standardization. This dataset covers dimensions including package ID, packaging type, applicable food category, application scenario, structural composition, material selection, processing method, dimensions and capacity, etc., and also introduces the field of "structural complexity score", which is used to quantitatively describe the complexity of packaging design in terms of manufacturing and construction. More specifically, package ID is used to identify the unique number of each packaging sample to ensure the uniqueness of records within the dataset. Packaging type describes the basic classification attributes of the packaging in terms of usage form. The packaging name (code) field assigns a digital identifier to each packaging sample. Applicable food category indicates which type of food contents the packaging is suitable for. Application scenario describes the actual application environment served by the packaging. Structural composition refers to the main combination form of the packaging in terms of structural construction.
