资源简介:
Many women seek naturopathic care for fertility, however, evidence for benefit is mostly anecdotal. Naturopathy is a comprehensive system of healthcare that uses a variety of strategies and therapies to optimise health. It is important, therefore, to understand the key components to be able to investigate the effectiveness/risks of naturopathy for women with diminished ovarian reserve (DOR) in a clinical trial. The aim of this study was to establish the feasibility, acceptability and safety and to explore the effectiveness of naturopathy as it is practiced in the real world on a range of outcomes important to women with DOR. These data will inform a future adequately powered RCT to evaluate the effectiveness of whole-system naturopathy for improved pregnancy rates in women with DOR.
