Vertical Microstructure Profiler (VMP) collected on cruise NBP2022 for the TARSAN project, January - February 2022

Vertical Microstructure Profiler (VMP) measurements were taken using a Rockland VMP-2000 during the RVIB Nathaniel B. Palmer cruise NBP2202 at the Dotson-Getz Trough, Dotson Ice Shelf front and Getz Ice Shelf front from 12th January to 25th February 2022. A Rockland Scientific International VMP-2000 was used to measure ocean properties, and it was equipped with microstructure velocity probes (SPM shear probes), high-resolution temperature sensors (FP07 thermistors), and high-accuracy pumped CTD sensors. The VMP was deployed from the RVIB Nathaniel B Palmer as part of the TARSAN project (https://thwaitesglacier.org/project/tarsan).
