Marchantia polymorpha RNA-sequencing

Contains two different experiments. 1) Analysis of gene expression in Marchantia polymorpha MpARF1-4 mutants complemented with a wild type MpARF1 and R272Q mutant copy. The goal was to compare transcriptomes and investigate differential expression of auxin-responsive genes. 2) RNA-seq of Tak-1 (wild type) and Mparf2-7 mutant plants, as well as Mparf2-7 plants complemented with MpARF2 wild type and MpARF2 E297K+R300Q. All four genotypes were grown from plant fragments, treated with auxin biosynthesis inhibitors L-kynurenine and Yucasin for 6 hours, and then with either Mock (DMSO) or auxin (3-indole-acetic acid) for 1 hour. The goal here was to compare transcriptomes and auxin responses in the four genotypes.
