Rhizospheric microbiomes of dormant and active Potaninia mongolica, a relic and endemic plant in Mongolia

To explore the differences in the rhizospheric microbiome between dormant and active desert plants and determine whether the microbiome contributes to the transition between these states, we aimed to: (i) compare the distribution of rhizospheric bacteria and rhizospheric fungi in dormant and active plants, and (ii) identify microbial groups that may support plants in their dormant state.
