This project is aimed at collecting metagenomic data from sewage water samples in Kolkata, India. To this end, we collected sewage water samples from five different manholes in Kolkata. The extracted DNA samples were used to perform shotgun metagenomic analysis using Illumina NovaSeq6000 and 16S rRNA gene amplicon analysis using Illumina MiSeq.
