Alnus rubra soil fungi Targeted Locus (Loci). soil metagenome

We used in-growth bags to capture ectomycorrhizal fungi that live in the soil underneath Alnus rubra stands. The objective of the study was to test for patterns of co-occurrence between the fungi and determine whether under stressful environments such as an Alnus forest, these fungi tend towards cooperation rather than competition.
