The SUSENAS is an annual survey of the Indonesian population. Areas covered include education/literacy, employment, income, household consumption, adult and child health, nutrition, and use of healthcare services, fertility, family planning and housing. Brief questions on each topic are asked annually in the Core questionnaire. More detailed questions on each topic are asked on a three year cycle (Susenas Modules). 206,597 households were included in the 1996 Susenas sample. Data was collected from individual household members as well as from households.
