Cinema attendance in Panama 2015-2022

Throughout 2022, movie theaters across Panama sold approximately 3.8 million tickets, up from 2.6 million a year earlier a growth of over 46 percent. Despite the annual increase, the 2022 figure amounted to less than 54 percent of the attendance of over seven million recorded in 2019, before the pandemic. Also in 2022, Panama had the most expensive movie tickets in Latin America, on average.
