Dual roles for a tick protein disulfide isomerase during the life cycle of the Lyme disease agent

To understand the immunomodulation roles of Ixodes scapularis protein disulfide isomerase A6 (IsPDIA6), we utilized RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) to investigate the effect of IsPDIA6 on the murine transcriptome. Overall design: We compared the transcriptome of murine splenocytes stimulated by the Lyme disease agent Borrelia burgdorferi, with or without IsPDIA6, for 6 hours.
