The price of 1 kilogram of strawberries in Sakai City is 285 yen higher than the national average. Over the period from January 2015 to May 2024 (a total of 59 months), the highest price for strawberries at supermarkets within Sakai City was recorded in December 2023 at 3,334 yen, while the lowest price was in April 2016 at 1,645 yen. The price difference between the peak and trough periods for strawberries in the Sakai City area is 285 yen.
