Microbial community studies from Wingfield Pines (Acid Mine Drainage) Passive Bioremediation sediment samples

This study aims to look at microbial communities in different holding ponds in a passive bioremediation system in the greater Pittsburgh Area of Western Pennsylvania. Samples were collected at multiple sites within the system and in the wet lands area. This data is a result of Ion Torrent PGM sequencing using primers for the V4 variable region of the 16srRNA gene.
