Data - Higher methanotroph abundance and bottom-water methane in ponds with floating photovoltaic arrays

This dataset accompanies the manuscript "Higher methanotroph abundance and bottom-water methane in ponds with floating photovoltaic arrays" by Ray et al, submitted to <i>Limnology &amp; Oceanography Letters</i>. This description will be updated later.There are 7 sheets in the datafile:<br>- "ysi_dat" describes water column temperature and dissolved oxygen at various depths/dates in each pond sampled<br>- "diss_ch4_dat" summarizes dissolved methane concentration measurements in different ponds, depths, and dates. Measurements were made in triplicate.- "diff_flux_dat" summarizes measurements of diffusive methane flux at the center and edge of each pond on July 11, 2024<br>- "wc_flux_dat" summarizes rates of water column CH4 production or consumption in light or dark bottles incubated for ~24 hours in each pond<br>- "sed_flux_dat" summarizes rates of potential sediment CH4 porduction for each pond<br>- "wc_microbe" summarizes total abundnace of methanogens and methanotrophs in each pond on different dates and depths<br>- "sed_microbe" summarizes relative abundance of methanogens and methanotrophs in each pond on different dates<br><br>
