Learning conditions from the point of view of East German students. Topics: 1. Judgement on current learning conditions in comparison to the situation at the university two years ago: judgement on technical level as well as didactic and pedagogical skill of lecturers; judgement on breadth of courses available and opportunities to specialize within personal course of studies; personal professional experience before start of course of studies; judgement on the relation to practice of studies; comprehensibility of study and examination demands; cooperation with other students; personal contact with lecturers; equiping of library with technical literature; technical furnishing of university; assessment of occupational chances after conclusion of course of studies. 2. Judgement on the reorganization of the university: studies according to new or old examination regulations; loss of important reference persons from circle of lecturers; proportion of lecturers from West Germany; comparison of lecturers from the west with lecturers from the east regarding their technical level, commitment, pedagogical skill, climate in courses and availability outside of courses; appropriateness of personnel renovation in the subject. 3. Housing situation and comparison of the university with other universities: preferred city for a hypothetical new start of studies; preference for a university for applied science or giving up studies; thoughts about discontinuing of course of study; reasons for discontinuing course of study; expected number of semesters until conclusion of course of studies; housing situation; party preference.
