资源简介:
Perfectionism has long been linked with performance. However, there are few studies on this topic and research in sport on the direction of this relationship has been equivocal. Consequently, the present project seeks to help further our understanding of this relationship and whether perfectionism contributes to improved or worse sports performance in a “real world” context. In doing so, we focus on a group of athletes that have yet to be examined – master’s basketball players (or maxibasketball players) – and novel aspects of performance (team selection) and individual (individual match statistics) and team outcomes (win/loss). To do so, we will adopt a prospective design where participants will complete baseline questionnaires and available performance data will be assessed over a period of approximately 12 months. unknown other
