OrthoDisease

OrthoDisease, a comprehensive database of model organism genes that are orthologous to human disease genes. OrthoDisease was constructed by applying the Inparanoid ortholog detection algorithm to disease genes derived from the Online Mendelian Inheritance in Man database (OMIM). Pairwise whole genome/proteome comparisons between Homo sapiens and six other organisms were performed to identify ortholog clusters.OrthoDisease数据库（OrthoDisease）是一款涵盖与人类疾病基因存在同源关系的模式生物基因的综合性数据库。该数据库通过将源自在线人类孟德尔遗传数据库（Online Mendelian Inheritance in Man，OMIM）的疾病基因应用Inparanoid同源基因检测算法构建而成。研究团队开展了智人（Homo sapiens）与其余6种生物的全基因组/全蛋白质组两两比对，以识别同源基因簇。
