B3Pdb addresses the challenge of delivering therapeutics across the BBB, which prevents nearly 98% of small molecule drugs and 100% of large molecules from reaching the brain.While existing resources like Brainpeps provided limited data, B3Pdb offers a unified platform with detailed experimental and therapeutic efficacy information.
The database integrates information from: Literature: Manually curated research articles from PubMed and Patents.
Experimental Data: In-depth analysis of in vitro and in vivo studies, including clinical trial status.
