Currently, only one study has been conducted on the gut flora of ITP patients using a metagenomics, and the evidence provided by the single-center study is limited due to the limited sample size of the study and the fact that gut flora is influenced by dietary, regional and genetic factors. Therefore, we will use metagenomic sequencing technology to further analyze the changes in the composition and function of intestinal flora in ITP patients, to further elucidate the role of gut flora in the etiology of ITP, and to provide biomarkers or potential diagnostic markers for ITP.
