CCGS John P. Tully Thermosalinograph Deployed 2016-10-04
收藏资源简介:
The Sea-Bird Thermosalinograph 21 (SN 3144) was deployed on 2016-10-04 on CCGS John P. Tully. The Canadian Coast Guard Ship (CCGS) John P. Tully is owned and operated by the Canadian Coast Guard. This device is a Thermosalinograph. Thermosalinographs collect data from the sea surface via flow-through systems on vessels. Typically they are mounted near the front of the vessel in order to minimize contamination. Primary variables measured are temperature and conductivity, and other variables like salinity and density are derived. It was deployed on a mobile platform. Data from this deployment were archived and made available through Ocean Networks Canada's Oceans 3.0 digital infrastructure, with quality assurance and derived data products following established practices.
