UWB Measurements and 3D Model of a Mine Tunnel

Description This repository provides a multimodal dataset collected in an underground mine tunnel in Slovenia to support measurement-driven and simulation-driven research on radio propagation for communication, sensing, and localization in harsh, irregular tunnel geometries. The dataset contains three complementary components: A LiDAR-derived 3D environment description (point cloud and polygon meshes) UWB channel measurement records (complex CIR samples and receiver-reported metrics at defined TX/RX locations) Deterministic ray tracing simulation setup and outputs (geometry, materials, and propagation results) Repository structure Environment_Data Contains 3D description of the mine tunnel segment. PointCloud/ LiDAR point cloud of the tunnel segment (`.ply`) PolygonMesh/ Polygon mesh models (`.stl`) at multiple fidelities for digital-twin reconstruction and deterministic simulation UWB_Measurements UWB measurement dataset recorded at multiple receiver locations. Figures Figures of UWB node positions durring experiment campaign RX_{i}/ LoS receiver location folders (each contains multiple `.csv` files for different UWB configurations) `RX_N1/, RX_N2/ NLoS receiver location folder Each `.csv` file contains 200 repeated measurements for a fixed TX/RX placement and a fixed UWB configuration, including: timestamps, TX/RX metadata, DS-TWR range estimates, complex CIR samples, and receiver-reported diagnostics/metrics RT_Simulations Ray tracing setup and simulation outputs based on the provided 3D meshes.
