资源简介:
Magnetic molecules with a doublet S=1/2 ground state are promising candidates as spin-based qubits. The ability of manipulating spin qubits with an electric field (spin-electric effect) promises to achieve faster, more compact and energetically efficient devices for quantum information. We have synthesised and characterized a Co(II)-based molecular antiferromagnetic triangle (Co3P) which shows a significant spin-electric effect. The interplay between exchange, spin-orbit interaction and chirality are at the origin of this phenomena. To disentangle the different contributions a more in-depth characterization of the exchange and magnetic anisotropy of this triangular molecule is required. Here we propose to perform 4D-INS experiments on LET on a single crystals of CoP3 to map out the intra-triangle exchange and anisotropies by a detailed analysis of the Q-dependence of the excitations.
