Neural precursor cells contribute to decision-making by tuning striatal connectivity via secretion of IGFBPL-1

We identified the Igfbpl1 gene by RNAseq of the neural precursor cells (NPCs) of the mice subventricular zone (SVZ), as an important gene released by SVZ-NPCs that play an important role in control of the striatal homeostasis and in particular involved in the cognitive processes and decision-making. Overall design: Undestanding the role of SVZ-NPCs on the striatal homeostasis control in physiological conditions using a transgenic mice (NestinTK) in which we can selectively killed the NPCs of the SVZ.
