Cultural and tourism authorities can formulate tourism policies and development plans that better align with market demands and adjust publicity directions based on tourist origin data. According to the local characteristics of tourist origins, corresponding businesses such as catering and cultural industries can be introduced, providing investment directions for enterprises intending to operate here and meeting the preferences of tourists from most regions. Since scenic landscapes, temperatures, and the impact of holidays vary across quarters, quarterly research is conducted. (For example, the fourth quarter witnesses a surge in passenger flow due to the National Day holiday; the third quarter has fewer public holidays, and its overall attraction depends on the scenic spots themselves and business strategies.) 1. Data Source: The data is sourced from the Nanxun Ancient Town Real 3D-Unified Management Platform, and is recorded in real time based on the actual operation of each scenic spot in Nanxun District during the second quarter. Our company has obtained the data usage authorization from the platform owner, 'Zhejiang Nanxun Ancient Town Tourism Development Co., Ltd.'. 2. Algorithm: Take a fixed time period (from the start time to the end time, with statistical error ignored) as the statistical cycle, and conduct one count for each city with tourist visit records. No record will be made for regions with no tourists within a given cycle; tourist origin identification is carried out through collaborative monitoring of machine detection and manual recognition, using identity documents such as ID cards, with the household registration place defined as the "source". The first monitored location when a tourist enters the Nanxun District tourist area is taken as the anchor point, and a tourist is defined as one who stays in the area for no less than 2 hours. For example, a tourist with identity information indicating "Zhoushan" will be counted as 1 domestic tourist on that day or within the statistical cycle if they are first monitored (via manual verification or machine scanning) upon entering Nanxun Tourism Resort and stay for 2 hours; the quarterly total is the cumulative count of such visitors. 3. Data Processing and Analysis: The proportion of foreign tourists in the current quarter is calculated as (total number of foreign tourists in the current quarter / total number of tourists in the current quarter) * 100%, and the proportion of domestic tourists is calculated in the same manner. The classification, summary, sorting and proportion calculation are directly completed by the unified management platform; A hash table combined with merge sort is used to process tourist origin data, and the top three regions with the highest proportion of domestic and foreign tourists in the current quarter are directly output. The data can be reused in multiple dimensions, for example: guiding relevant departments to carry out targeted publicity; arranging service preparations for tourists from specific regions in advance in the same quarter, etc.
