The selected metagenomic datasets are shotgun sequence data from nasopharyngeal samples from COPD patients during exacerbation. Both DNA and RNA were sequenced simultaneously using an Illumina (NextSeq 500) library preparation protocol with in-house adaptations. Human reads have been removed before uploading.
