Contaminant Concentrations in Salish Sea Seaweeds Dataset Description

This document describes a dataset containing concentrations of metals and organic contaminants from the edible seaweeds <i></i><i>Fucus distichus, </i><i>Fucus spiralis</i>, and Nereocystis luetkeana<i> </i>that were collected from the Salish Sea in the summer of 2015. The dataset includes data summarized in the “Chemical Contaminant Levels in Edible Seaweeds of the Salish Sea and Implications for their Consumption” by J.L. Hahn, K.L. Van Alstyne, J.K. Gaydos, L.K. Wallis, J.E. West, G.M. Ylitalo, R.H. Poppenga, J.L., Bolton, S.J. Hollenhorst, D. McBride, and R. Sofield, which has been submitted to <i>PloS One.</i> as well as additional unpublished data.
