STYLISTIC FUNCTIONS OF RELIEF IMAGERY IN LITERARY TEXTS: A COMPARATIVE STUDY OF UZBEK AND ENGLISH LITERATURE

This article examines the stylistic and linguopoetic functions of relief imagery in Uzbek and English literature. Natural elements such as mountains, valleys, rivers, and deserts are analyzed as symbolic representations of emotions, national identity, and cultural worldview. The study applies comparative and cognitive approaches based on the works of Uzbek and English writers. The findings show that relief imagery acts as a bridge between nature and human consciousness, reflecting both universal and culture-specific meanings.
