Cryptosporidium and Cryptosporidiosis among humans in Egypt

However, there has been progress in Cryptosporidium research in Egypt, available data on the epidemiology and diversity of this parasite among humans are rather fragmentary. The present data provide a review of the published data on Cryptosporidiosis infecting humans in Egypt, which should be useful for interpreting the epidemiology of this ubiquitous parasite. This data evadite the increasing risk of infections among the Egyptian population and there is an urgent need for disease control.
