<b>Project title</b>: PMACS-86<b>Grant Information:</b> AHA Grant 9TPA34910007, Regulatory role of pericardial macrophages in myocardial infarction<b>Project Description:</b>· Animal Model: Myocardial Infarction· Animal Age: 8-12 Weeks· Animal Sex: Male· Animal Strain: GATA6<sup>Venus</sup> Reporter Mice· Number: 9 mice· Groups: 5 infarction, 4 sham surgery· Experimental Conditions: Mice were given MI via LAD ligation. Animals were sacrificed at day 3 post-infarction or sham surgery. Pericardial fluid was harvested. Pericardial fluid was incubated for hours in AMCF media stimulated with ng/mL LPS as well as golgiplug and golgistop to allow for intracellular staining .
