Gynoecy in Momordica charantia was genetically mapped using RAD-seq analysis. A gynoecious line and a monoecioud line were employed as parental lines, and their F2 population was developed. These parental lines and F2 individuals or bulks were genotyped by RAD-seq analysis. From these genotypes and segregated phenotypes (sex-type), several markers linked to gynoecious locus could be identified.
