To date, large gaps exist in the basic biological knowledge of jellyfish. Studying the differential expression of key enzymes related to the main energetic metabolism pathways of jellyfish under cold and warm seawater thermal stress will help us to understand the abilities of jellyfish to cope with environmental changes and to produce/store energy to accomplish essential functions.
