Gay Community Periodic Survey: Melbourne 2004

The sixth Melbourne Gay Community Periodic Survey Data result from a cross-sectional survey of gay and homosexually active men recruited through a range of gay community sites in Melbourne. Data were collected from questions on anal intercourse and oral sex, the use of condoms, the nature of sexual relationships, HIV testing and serostatus, aspects of social attachment to gay community, recreational drug use, and a range of demographic items including sexual identity, age, occupation and ethnicity. Sample Population: 1962 gay and homosexually-active men from Melbourne. Kind of Data: Survey. Sampling Procedures: Men were recruited through seven sites: six gay community venues and Midsumma Carnival.
