NRS-107 | Financial statements of Pastures Protection Boards

Consist of annual statements of receipts and payments for both the Pastures Protection Fund and the Reserves Improvement Fund together with Statements of assessable income for both Funds each year. Some files also include correspondence from the Under-Secretary of Agriculture concerning discrepancies, errors and so on, in the statements. Section 16 of the Pastures Protection Act 1934-1964, requires each board to submit annual balance sheets to the Minister. These include a Pastures Protection Fund, a Reserves Improvement Fund, and in some cases Funds established under Section 91 of the Act, relating to noxious animals. Section 20 requires that each board pay 3% of its gross annual income to the Treasurer for the administration of the Act.
