Based on the Urban Passenger Transport report from INEGI, updated on May 15, 2025, I created this chart showing the number of registered users in the Metrorrey system since the fare increase in June 2022, when prices rose from 4.50 MXN to 5.50 MXN, up to the latest available data from March 2025, where the cost reached 8.80 MXN (As of May 2025, the current metro fare is 9.00 MXN).<b>Note</b>: This chart only includes data from the Monterrey, N. L. metro system and does not reflect ridership on bus routes like Transmetro routes or the García-Monterrey-Guadalupe Transmetro service (formerly Ecovía).<br><br>Source: Transporte Urbano de Pasajeros<br>
