This project contains RNA sequencing data from homogenized liver samples. In-house bred mice transgenic for the overexpression of extracellular dismutase (ecSOD-Tg) in the lungs and their WT littermates (male, 15-19 weeks of age) were either exposed to concentrated ambient PM2.5 (CAP) or inhaled HEPA-filtered air (WT, air: n = 10; WT, CAP: n = 9; ecSOD-Tg, air: n = 9; ecSOD-Tg, CAP: n = 10). Inhalation experiments were performed for 9 days (6 h/d) using a versatile aerosol enrichment system (VACES) to concentrate PM2.5 from the ambient air.
